Inner Mongolia Ordos Customer Lightweight Block Production Line Project

In early July, Guangzhou Hengde officially signed an agreement with a solid waste recycling company in Ordos, Inner Mongolia, to build a fully automated lightweight block production line with a daily capacity of 300 cubic meters. This project represents a landmark implementation of Hengde’s equipment in the northwest market. It not only fills a technological gap in the large-scale disposal of construction solid waste in the region but also aligns with the nation’s “dual-carbon” goals through its “turning waste into treasure” industrial model, offering an innovative solution for the transformation of resource-based cities.

During their visit to the production base, the Inner Mongolia customer observed the cutting process of Hengde’s newly developed three-stage vertical cutting saw. The cutting accuracy is within ±1 mm, and the product quality is high with minimal cutting waste. They also gained an understanding of the key processes and workflow—including mixing, pouring, cutting, and palletizing—across the entire production line.

As an important coal-producing region in China, Inner Mongolia is facing the significant challenge of a sharp increase in fly ash generation. According to statistics, the autonomous region of Inner Mongolia discharges more than 30 million tons of fly ash annually. Inner Mongolia has been fully committed to the comprehensive utilization of fly ash, introducing numerous supportive policies for the integrated use of coal gangue and fly ash, and encouraging enterprises to transform industrial solid waste into new building materials by adopting new technologies and developing emerging industries.

The Hengde lightweight brick production line can utilize solid waste materials such as fly ash and coal gangue, helping customers achieve waste reuse, source-based material procurement, cost reduction, and efficiency enhancement. It enables customized production tailored to each plant’s specific needs and offers services including technical training, remote support, and after-sales assistance.
