This time, the customer isn’t just here to take a quick look at the equipment’s appearance. Right upon arrival, their focus was already quite clear: how the materials are mixed, how the slurry is poured into the molds, what the forming process looks like, and whether the finished products that emerge afterward will be consistently reliable.
On the first day, the customer’s primary focus was on casting.
In block production, the pouring stage may seem straightforward, but it is actually critical. The uniformity of material mixing, the stability of the foaming process, and the ability of the green body to form properly after being poured into the mold all influence subsequent demolding and cutting.
The customer conducted a thorough on-site inspection and continuously raised practical questions regarding subsequent production, such as raw material compatibility, product specifications, production scheduling, and the management required to ensure smooth operation of the entire production line going forward.
After observing the pouring process, the customer showed strong interest in the project, so they returned to Hengde the following day.
On August 23, the customer focused on cutting.
On this day, we assessed the finished‑product quality. Once the green body has been formed, customers can directly inspect on site whether the dimensions are consistent, the edges and corners are neat, and the surface is smooth.
For those planning a lightweight masonry block project, seeing the cutting results firsthand is far more compelling than simply hearing a presentation. After all, whether the product ultimately sells and can be successfully applied in construction projects hinges on its dimensions and appearance—both of which significantly influence customer decisions.
This time, the Guizhou clients visited for two consecutive days—one to observe the pouring process and the other to inspect the cutting operation—gaining a thorough overview of the two most critical stages in block production.
Based on the on-site discussions, the customer has shown strong interest in the block‑making project and seeks to gain a deeper understanding of equipment configurations that align with their site conditions and production capacity requirements. Moving forward, Guangzhou Hengde will continue to refine the block‑production line plan, taking into account the customer’s raw material characteristics, product roadmap, and investment strategy.
For many customers preparing to enter the lightweight block‑making business, the most important aspect of the preliminary assessment is not listening to a comprehensive presentation, but rather gaining a clear understanding of the key processes: whether the materials can be properly molded, whether the equipment can seamlessly integrate, and whether the quality of the cut products meets expectations.
