An Ivorian customer visited Guangzhou Hengde to learn about the configuration of a lightweight block production line.
On August 27, 2026, a client from Côte d’Ivoire visited Guangzhou Hengde Construction Technology Co., Ltd. to conduct an on-site inspection of the lightweight block production process, equipment configuration, workshop layout, and overall factory operations.
On August 27, 2026, a client from Côte d’Ivoire visited Guangzhou Hengde Building Technology Co., Ltd. to conduct an on-site inspection of the lightweight block production process, equipment configuration, workshop layout, and factory manufacturing operations.
During the meeting, the Hengde team used production line schematics and project documentation to outline the key stages a lightweight block production line must go through—from raw material intake to finished‑product output—and provided detailed explanations of equipment configurations for varying production capacities and levels of automation.
When advancing a lightweight concrete block project in Côte d’Ivoire, equipment selection is only one component of the preliminary phase. The production plan must also take into account locally available raw materials, the dimensions and specifications of the blocks to be manufactured, the conditions of the plant and site, power supply constraints, labor requirements, and the logistics for transporting the finished products.
The Hengde team also highlighted issues that are often overlooked during the early stages of production-line planning. For example, whether the cycle times of the various pieces of equipment can be seamlessly coordinated, whether the facility has sufficient space for equipment installation and maintenance, whether the initial configuration can accommodate current production volumes, and whether there is adequate scalability to support future capacity expansions. All these factors will impact the plant’s actual operational performance after commissioning.
Following the meeting, the customer toured the production workshop to inspect the manufacturing and assembly of the equipment. By examining the on-site machinery, the customer gained a deeper understanding of the positioning and functions of the main frame, the conveying system, the casting‑related equipment, and the auxiliary devices within the entire production line, and compared the solutions presented in the conference room with the actual equipment installed at the factory.
This visit was primarily intended to provide the client with a comprehensive understanding of the lightweight block production line and Hengde’s equipment‑manufacturing capabilities. Moving forward, both parties will continue to refine the project’s foundational documentation for Côte d’Ivoire and, based on actual site conditions, finalize the equipment specifications and plant‑construction plan.
