A Ghanaian customer visited Guangzhou Hengde to inspect the 200-square-meter production line and block-cutting equipment.

On August 28, 2026, a Ghanaian client visited Guangzhou Hengde Construction Technology Co., Ltd. to conduct an on-site assessment of local raw materials, power supply conditions, production line capacity, installation services, and block‑cutting equipment.

The client explained that Ghana has both river sand and mining sites. In light of the available raw materials, the two parties discussed issues such as sand fineness, silt content, cement grade, and production costs. The Hengde team clarified that the mere availability of sand does not allow for an immediate determination of the production formula; rather, it is necessary to evaluate particle size, fineness, and silt content, and, if needed, conduct further verification using raw material samples.

During the discussion, a customer asked, “When you mention 200 cubic meters, does that refer to a single shift or to a 24-hour period?” The Hengde team clarified on-site that the proposed solution is based on a production capacity of 200 cubic meters per shift; however, actual production also requires accounting for the cycle times associated with pouring, curing, demolding, cutting, and material handling. After pouring, the product must undergo an appropriate curing period—approximately 6 to 8 hours in the preliminary scenario presented—and should be protected from direct exposure to sunlight.

The customer also noted that the local voltage in Ghana is unstable, fluctuating between approximately 320 V and nearly 400 V. The two parties discussed voltage regulation equipment, the electrical system, and the operating conditions of the production line. The actual local power parameters must be further verified prior to finalizing the solution and incorporated into the overall electrical configuration of the entire line.

When the customer inquired whether Hengde’s after-sales engineers were still in Ghana, the meeting venue immediately established a WeChat video connection with the engineer who was on-site carrying out equipment installation. The engineer turned the camera toward the project site, showcasing the equipment being installed, the surrounding environment, and the current construction progress.

During the video call, the after-sales engineer provided an overview of the on-site installation work and project progress. Through this real-time connection, the customer not only witnessed the ongoing, real‑world project in Ghana but also gained a deeper understanding of how the manufacturer guides installation, coordinates construction, and addresses challenges posed by local conditions once the equipment arrives on site.

The Hengde team also informed the customer that overseas equipment installation is typically carried out on-site by after-sales engineers, who provide guidance and training. The customer is required to arrange local welders, electricians, and support personnel. In addition to the production line’s scale, the installation schedule is influenced by factors such as the site’s foundation, power supply conditions, staff coordination, and the timely arrival of the equipment.

Following the meeting in the conference room, the client toured the Hengde factory and inspected the lightweight block production equipment and cutting system on site. The Hengde team, drawing on the equipment observed, explained the differences among various cutting methods in terms of speed, stability, kerf width, and control of finished‑product dimensions. The client also examined the cut blocks.

This site visit enabled the customer to gain a comprehensive understanding of the equipment design, factory manufacturing, block‑cutting processes, and the on‑site installation in Ghana. Moving forward, both parties will further refine the production line configuration and the project implementation plan, taking into account the customer’s raw materials, site conditions, power supply, and target output.
