This time, the customer does not lack a production foundation altogether. They already have molds in Ghana and are engaged in block manufacturing; however, mold forming is currently performed manually, resulting in low production efficiency and high labor intensity. As market demand continues to grow, the existing manual production process can no longer meet the customer’s requirements for output volume and continuous operation.
Accordingly, the customer’s visit to Hengde this time is not merely to learn about a single piece of equipment; rather, they aim to upgrade their existing mold‑forming process into a more stable, higher‑efficiency mechanized production line.
During the communication process, the customer focused primarily on the block‑making production line and also reviewed solutions for wall‑panel production; however, the project’s main emphasis remained on block manufacturing. Based on the customer’s existing production setup, the Hengde team highlighted key aspects such as equipment configuration, production workflows, mold turnover, automation upgrades, labor‑resource planning, and subsequent installation and training services.
For customers who already have molds and a solid foundation in production, the goal of upgrading equipment is clear: increase output, reduce labor, and ensure a more continuous and stable production process. In particular, when transitioning from manual mold forming to mechanized production, customers are especially concerned with whether the new equipment can align with their existing production workflows, whether it will be easy to operate in the long term, and whether the upgraded line will genuinely enhance productivity.
Construction and infrastructure projects in Ghana are still underway, and residential, urban development, and related works continue to demand wall‑building materials. For customers, establishing a more stable local block‑production capacity would not only enhance supply efficiency but also help reduce long-term reliance on labor and ease the burden of production management.
This visit provided the customer with a clearer, more concrete understanding of Guangzhou Hengde’s upgrade plan for its lightweight block production line. Moving forward, Hengde will continue to work closely with the customer, taking into account their local production infrastructure, mold inventory, site conditions, and capacity requirements, to help refine the equipment configuration and further optimize the upgrade strategy.
