A customer from Zhejiang visited Guangzhou Hengde to evaluate the upgrade plan for the expanded clay aggregate block cutting system.

On July 4, 2026, a delegation of customers from Zhejiang visited Guangzhou Hengde Construction Technology Co., Ltd. to conduct an on-site inspection of the lightweight aggregate block production equipment and cutting system. They engaged in in-depth discussions regarding the upgrade and modernization of the existing production line, improvements in cutting efficiency, control of product specifications, and potential directions for future collaboration.

On July 4, 2026, a delegation of customers from Zhejiang visited Guangzhou Hengde Building Technology Co., Ltd. to conduct an on-site inspection of the expanded clay aggregate block production equipment and cutting system. They also engaged in in-depth discussions regarding the upgrading and retrofitting of the existing production line, enhancing cutting efficiency, controlling product specifications, and exploring avenues for future collaboration.

According to reports, the customer already operates a clay‑aggregate block production plant, with its production line currently in operation. The existing line primarily relies on reciprocating saws for cutting; however, during actual production, the customer has increasingly identified several shortcomings of this conventional method—namely, slow cutting speeds, low efficiency, and an inability to keep pace with the production schedule—resulting in constraints on downstream capacity expansion and efforts to improve product quality.

During this visit to Guangzhou Hengde, the client is not seeking to build an entirely new production line; rather, they aim to upgrade and modernize key processes at their existing facility. The primary focus is on replacing the current reciprocating saw‑cutting method with a more stable and efficient cutting system, thereby enhancing both the production throughput of lightweight aggregate concrete blocks and the quality of the finished products.

In response to the customer’s renovation requirements, the Guangzhou Hengde team held a detailed discussion with the client in the conference room. Drawing on the customer’s existing production line, the specifications of their expanded‑clay block products, the characteristics of the raw materials, and their capacity needs, the team provided a comprehensive overview of the expanded‑clay block cutting system—covering its equipment configuration, cutting methodology, operational efficiency, dimensional control, and implementation strategy for the upgrade.

During the consultation, customers focused on key issues such as how to integrate the existing production line with new equipment, whether substantial adjustments to the original production process would be necessary, whether cutting speeds could be improved, whether product dimensions would remain consistent, and whether subsequent operation and maintenance would be convenient. In response to these practical needs, the Hengde team leveraged its extensive experience in upgrading production lines to provide detailed explanations covering equipment selection, on-site layout, seamless integration of cutting processes, and subsequent installation and commissioning.

Subsequently, the customer toured Hengde’s production workshop, gaining hands-on insights into the manufacturing and machining of cutting equipment, its structural design, assembly and commissioning, as well as related ancillary systems. During this visit, the customer focused on observing a live demonstration of the ceramic‑aggregate block‑cutting process, obtaining a clear understanding of the equipment’s operating principles, cutting speed, cut‑size specifications, and the quality of the finished products.

Cutting, as a critical step in the production of ceramic‑aggregate masonry blocks, directly affects the dimensional accuracy, surface appearance, and subsequent performance during construction. By inspecting the operating condition of the cutting equipment and evaluating the quality of the cut products on site, the customer gained a deeper understanding of the Hengde cutting system’s stability and its practical performance.

For customers with existing factories, the focus of upgrading and retrofitting is not on blindly replacing entire production lines, but rather on identifying the critical bottlenecks that affect both production efficiency and product quality. In this case, the customer’s original reciprocating saw had a slow cutting speed, which had become a major constraint on improving overall productivity. By upgrading the cutting system, the customer can enhance cutting efficiency and improve the consistency of product dimensions while retaining their existing production infrastructure, thereby further optimizing the performance of the expanded clay aggregate block production line.

This visit and inspection enabled the client to further clarify the approach for upgrading and retrofitting the cutting system of the expanded clay block production line, while also laying a solid foundation for the two parties to refine the proposed solutions and advance the project.

Guangzhou Hengde Construction Technology Co., Ltd. has long been dedicated to the development and upgrading of equipment and production lines for lightweight building materials.
