Southeast Asian Indonesian Client Signs Contract for Lightweight Brick Production Line Project

Recently, a leading Indonesian cement-products company officially signed an agreement with Guangzhou Hengde to jointly build a new automated lightweight brick production line.

With many years of deep expertise in the local cement industry and a keen understanding of the Indonesian building-materials market, this client has identified the robust, growing demand for lightweight bricks (autoclaved aerated concrete blocks) as a critical market need. The client plans to leverage its proprietary raw-material supply chain and established distribution channels to establish a state-of-the-art production facility for lightweight bricks.

With a surge in infrastructure and residential projects across Indonesia, the use of traditional clay bricks is increasingly constrained, driving a year-on-year spike in demand for lightweight, eco-friendly masonry units. Compared with conventional production methods, Hengde’s non-autoclaved, highly automated production lines deliver cutting accuracy within ±1 mm, enabling efficient utilization of local raw materials such as cement, fly ash, and slag. The resulting products boast high strength, standardized dimensions, and superior thermal and acoustic insulation—fully meeting local building codes and standards.

Guangzhou Hengde will provide end-to-end solutions—including complete production lines, equipment, installation and commissioning, and technical training—to help customers achieve rapid production start-up, reduce costs, and improve efficiency. This collaboration marks another flagship project for Hengde in the Southeast Asian market, further solidifying the company’s leading position in the overseas lightweight building-materials equipment sector.
