On March 5, 2026, two clients from the Sichuan Academy of Building Research visited Guangzhou Hengde Construction Technology Co., Ltd. to conduct on-site inspections of their ultra‑thin insulation board cutting equipment and engage in technical exchanges. The primary purpose of this visit was to gain an understanding of how Hengde’s cutting equipment is applied in the field of ultra‑thin panel cutting, while also exploring potential upgrade and renovation plans for their existing production line’s cutting system.

During the meeting’s discussion session, both parties engaged in detailed exchanges regarding the customer’s current production processes, board specifications, and cutting precision requirements. The customer explained that the insulation boards they currently produce are primarily used in specialized applications, placing high demands on board thickness and cutting accuracy. To verify the equipment’s actual cutting performance, the customer had previously shipped their raw blanks to the Hengde factory, hoping to conduct on-site trial cuts and assess whether the equipment could meet their production needs.

Subsequently, accompanied by the Hengde technical team, the customer visited the factory workshop to conduct an on-site inspection of the cutting equipment and perform trial cuts on the blanks that had been shipped over. The sheet material was approximately 1 meter long and 50 centimeters wide.

The customer’s existing production line used a reciprocating saw for thin‑sheet cutting, but it encountered several significant issues in actual production: First, the cutting speed was relatively slow, which impacted overall production efficiency; second, it was difficult to maintain consistent cutting accuracy, leading to frequent dimensional deviations; and third, when cutting very thin sheets, the material was prone to damage or improper cuts, resulting in increased production waste.

Based on the customer’s actual situation, the Hengde technical team proposed optimizing and upgrading the existing production line by enhancing the cutting system. Without significantly altering the overall production structure, they introduced more stable, higher‑precision cutting equipment to meet the demands of ultra‑thin sheet production.

During the on-site trial cutting, the customer conducted a detailed observation of the equipment’s cutting performance, stability, and sheet metal forming quality, and engaged in in-depth discussions with the technical staff regarding equipment parameters, future applications, and system upgrade plans.

This visit not only deepened the client’s understanding of Hengde cutting equipment, but also laid the foundation for future cooperation between the two parties in the field of ultra‑thin sheet cutting equipment.
